The Automations section in Miestro allows you to set up workflows that automate repetitive tasks, freeing you from manual intervention. This powerful feature ensures that routine actions are handled automatically, saving you time and improving efficiency.
Key Features of the Automations Section
- Create an Automation: To create a new automation, click the Create Automation button and give your automation a name. This will help you easily identify it later when managing multiple automations.
- Automation Editor: Once inside the Automation Editor, you can build your workflow by defining triggers and actions:
- Add a Trigger: Begin by clicking the Add Trigger button. This opens a sidebar on the left that lists all available triggers. A trigger is the event that starts the automation (e.g., a member completing a course or purchasing a product). Select the appropriate trigger from the list.
- Add an Action: After setting the trigger, click the plus (+) icon to add an action. Actions are the tasks that will occur when the trigger is activated (e.g., sending an email, assigning a certificate, or giving product access). The available actions are also listed on the left sidebar, allowing you to choose the appropriate response for the selected trigger.
- Enable Automation: Once you’ve added your trigger and action, enable the automation by toggling the switch in the top-right corner of the editor. This ensures that the automation is active and will run whenever the trigger event occurs.
- Managing Automations: After creating an automation, you can manage it from the Automation List. Here, you can:
- Edit, Delete, or View Automations: Use the action buttons on the far right of each automation to edit, delete, or review details of your workflows.
- Active/Inactive Indicator: Each automation entry has an indicator showing whether it is currently active (enabled) or inactive (disabled). This helps you quickly see which automations are running and which are turned off.
By using the Automations Section, you can streamline and optimize your workflow, ensuring that important tasks like sending emails, assigning products, or awarding certificates are handled automatically, without manual input. This automation capability enhances your efficiency and lets you focus on growing your business.
