The Portal Themes section in Miestro allows you to customize the Portal, which serves as the homepage for your members once they sign in to your site. This is where they will see all the products you have published. The Portal Themes section gives you full control over the design and structure of this page, ensuring that it aligns with your branding and provides a seamless experience for your members.

Key Features of Portal Themes

  1. Portal Overview: The Portal acts as the homepage for logged-in members, displaying all the products you have published. Customizing this page helps you create a welcoming and branded environment that enhances the user experience.

     

  2. Portal Template Selection: In the Portal Themes section, you will start by selecting a Portal Template. These templates serve as the foundation for the design of your portal, and you can choose the one that best fits your brand and style.

     

  3. Portal Settings: At the top of the Portal Themes section, you will find Portal Settings, which apply globally across all templates. Regardless of which template you choose, these settings ensure consistent branding and functionality across your portal. Here’s what you can customize:

    • Brand Colors: Set the primary and secondary colors that reflect your brand's visual identity.
    • Favicon: Upload the small icon that appears in the browser tab, further reinforcing your brand.
    • Header and Footer Links: Customize the navigation links in the header and footer to guide your members to important pages.
    • SEO Data: Optimize your portal for search engines by updating the title, description, and metadata to help your portal appear in search results.

       

     

Template Customization

 

Once you’ve selected a portal template, you can start customizing it by using the available tools:

  1. Edit, Preview, and Apply:
    • Edit Icon: Clicking the Edit icon will take you to the Portal Editor, where you can modify the template in detail.
    • Preview Icon: The Preview icon lets you see how the template will appear to your members before applying any changes.
    • Apply Button: Once you’re happy with a template, you can click the Apply button to make it the active design for your portal.

 

Portal Editor

The Portal Editor provides powerful tools to customize the look and functionality of your portal. Here's what you can do within the editor:

  1. Sections Tab: The Sections Tab on the left side of the editor allows you to manage the larger parts of your portal, such as headers, product grids, testimonials, or footers. Selecting a section will open up specific customization options for that part of the page. You can change things like layout, colors, and images depending on the section you are working on.

     

  2. Elements Tab: The Elements Tab contains a variety of smaller items like text blocks, buttons, images, or icons that you can add to your portal. You can drag and drop these elements into different areas of the portal, giving you the flexibility to create a fully customized and branded experience.

     

Saving and Previewing Your Changes

 

Once you’ve made changes to the template, it’s important to save your work:

  • Save: This option allows you to save your progress without closing the editor, so you can continue making adjustments.
  • Preview: At any point, you can use the Preview button to see how your portal will look to members. This is helpful for reviewing your design before making it live.
  • Apply and Close: Once you’re satisfied with your changes, you can apply them and close the editor to finalize your portal’s design.
