Adding a Video Lesson

Step 1: From the Course Materials section, click the Add Lesson button on the desired Section on the left-hand side.

Step 2: From the drop down menu, select the Video lesson type.

Step 3: Enter the desired lesson title in the Lesson Title textbox.

Step 4: Click either the URL, Upload, or Library button to select a video file.

NOTE: To host your videos with the Miestro player, please upload a mp4, webm, or mov video file. The max size is 2GB. You can use HandBrake to compress your videos to that size before uploading. To use a hosted video file from Wistia, Vimeo, or YouTube, click the URL button. 

Step 5: Go through the steps to upload your specific video. 

Step 6: You’ll then see an optional content textbox where you can insert additional content, such as instructions, that go with the video file for that lesson.

Step 7: After the video file and content have been added to the lesson, click Save.

Step 8: From the Settings section, you can select Save as a Draft to save the lesson as a draft, or select Autoplay to have the video play automatically. You can also select a specific release date or drip the less a certain number of days after a student’s join date. 

Step 9: Click the Save Setting button.

Step 10:In order to allow your students to download resources from this lesson, scroll to the Resources section and click the Upload File button to upload the desired resources to this lesson.

Step 11: From the Comments section, you can disable or enable comments for this lesson.
