Domain Settings

This video will show you how to create a custom domain name.

Step 1: From the left-hand menu on the Dashboard, click into the Settings section.

Step 2: Click on Account in the Settings menu.

Step 3: At the bottom, click Create Domain.

Step 4: Per the instructions on the next screen, login to your domain name registrar and find the DNS settings for the domain name you’d like to use.

Step 5: Edit the DNS settings. Set “A” record by setting “name” of the “A” record to your domain and “value” to “52.37.203.239” and add a new record, select “CNAME” record. Type www for the host and enter your domain name as the value.

NOTE: Some of these settings can change from one domain registrar to the next, so you may have to play around with this a little bit to configure it correctly.

Step 6: Wait a little while. Domain name settings may take several hours to take effect, while the new domain name settings propagates across the Internet.

Your subdomain will be listed under the Account settings section.
